The OREGON floating sprocket is an essential part of any cutting system that includes a spline clutch drum. The walls of the sprocket hold the chain in place, significantly reducing chain stress and wear.
The presented floating sprocket enables proper operation of the 3/8" pitch cutting system and ensures smooth cutting. It is characterized by:
+ special design that uses centrifugal force to remove dust and sawdust that accumulates during operation
+ Wear depth indicator on the outside of the wheel to show when the wheel needs to be replaced.
OREGON recommends replacing the floating sprocket when 2 chains are worn.
This floating sprocket is also available in .325"", .404" pitch for Oregon PowerMate clutch drums with "small" or "standard" spline diameter.
This product will fit the following OREGON clutch drums: 513443, 38010, 40070X, 34425X, 513470, 29496X, 18242X, 38824X, 523046X, 29917X, 34162X, 21358X
This product is NOT compatible with original STIHL brand clutch drums.
