Insulated and safe footwear
GALMAG 491 winter safety boots are high, insulated safety shoes equipped with a steel toe cap, meeting the EN ISO 20345:2011 standard. They provide protection and comfort in harsh winter conditions, offering the highest safety standard of the S1 SRC.
Materials and upper
- Upper: The shoes are made of cowhide leather with a thickness of 1.4 - 1.6 mm and synthetic material, which ensures durability and resistance to damage. Cowhide is also flexible and adapts to the shape of the foot.
- Lining: The inside of the shoes is lined with a synthetic material in the form of fur, which insulates from low temperatures and has hygroscopic properties, which provides warmth and comfort during use in cold conditions.
Comfort and cushioning
- Insole: The shoes have an EVA insole, which provides excellent cushioning and comfort during prolonged wear. The insole adapts to the shape of the foot for added comfort.
- Sole: Made of two-layer PU/PU polyurethane, where the outer layer is harder and the inner layer is softer. The sole is antistatic (A), absorbs energy in the heel area (E) and provides resistance to slipping on two planes (SRC). This makes the shoes safe and stable on various surfaces.
Extra protection
- Protective toe: A steel toe cap that can withstand impacts with an energy of 200 J, additionally flooded with a layer of polyurethane, which protects the toes from mechanical damage and increases the durability of the footwear, especially when working on the knees.
