IDEAL Battery charger SMART CHARGER 4
Product characteristics:
The charger allows automatic charging of all types of lead-acid batteries:
- wet-acid WET,
- gel gels,
- maintenance-free MF,
- AGM with fiberglass mat,
with free flow of electrolyte, intended for motor vehicles (gasoline and diesel), motorcycles, motor boats, etc.

The 7-stage charging process ensures optimal charging conditions for the battery. The automatic control system will adjust each of the 7 charging stages to the correct charging of the battery:
- STAGE 1 - diagnostics - analyzes the battery and checks whether it can accept charging current, prevents charging of a damaged battery
- STAGE 2 - pre-charging - low-voltage batteries are pre-charged with a low current, this ensures a longer battery life
- STAGE 3 - soft start - the rectifier gradually increases the charging current from reaching full charge current
- STAGE 4 - CC1, CC2, CC3 (Constant Current) - fast charging. The charging current is set automatically depending on the state of charge of the battery
- STAGE 5 - CV (Constant Voltage) - charging up to 14.6V. Designed to charge batteries that are almost fully charged. It will stop charging the battery when it reaches 14.6V
- STAGE 6 - Resting - the charging process is completed when the battery is fully charged
- STAGE 7 - Restoring - automatic monitoring of the battery. The charging process will resume when the battery voltage drops below 12.8V (for 12V batteries). The charger will restart the charging process starting from stage 1.
