EXPERT TIG 220 AC/DC PULSE is a portable power source, made in IGBT technology , designed for TIG and TIG PULS welding with alternating current (AC), direct current (DC), and MMA welding with an electrode covered with direct current (DC).  Small size and weight make the device perfect for both workshop work and field work.

The device has welding modes: TIG DC, TIG DC PULS, TIG AC, TIG AC PULS, MMA.

The TIG DC and TIG DC PULS functions are used for welding stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steels, copper and titanium.

TIG AC and TIG AC PULS function: enables welding of aluminium and its alloys as well as brass.

Thanks to the adjustment of the parameters of TIG PULS pulse welding, we have an impact on the shape of the weld seam and the focus of the arc. Pulse welding also reduces the amount of heat supplied to the material and is applicable when welding thin materials.

The arc is ignited in non-contact (HF) or touch (LIFT) mode. The LIFT function is used when welding in an environment with a high risk of electromagnetic interference on the environment.

Both with the HF non-contact ignition and the LIFT touch ignition, we have the option of choosing the function of the button in the TIG torch between 2-stroke or 4-stroke operation (button lock for long welds).

A clear and easy-to-use digital control panel allows for accurate adjustment of the device, ensures stable parameters and high quality of welding.

The device has 9 locations for saving user welding programs.

Digital displays make it easy to adjust the parameters of the welder:

  • initial outflow of shielding gas
  • Initial current
  • current rise time
  • welding current
  • Base Current
  • Current descent time
  • Final current
  • Final discharge of shielding gas
  • pulse length
  • pulse frequency
  • AC ballast
  • AC frequency
  • HOT START value
  • ARC FORCE value

From the control panel we can choose the AC voltage curve waveform:

  • TIG AC – square voltage waveform
  • TIG AC – Sinusoidal Voltage Waveform
