The ORNO flood sensor is suitable for early detection of the presence of water in rooms prone to flooding, such as basements, kitchens, bathrooms and places with water tanks, such as dishwashers, washing machines and air conditioners. The device has a measuring probe on a 1.5 m long cable, which allows the sensor to be placed in the optimal place.

The sensor is powered by three AAA batteries (batteries not included). The sensor type is a magnetic probe, which is highly sensitive to the presence of water. The sensor is equipped with a TEST button, which allows you to check the correct operation of the device. It also has a low battery indication, which informs the user when it is time to replace the battery with new ones.
