Equipped with special carbide inserts and bearings, the PROMA PPS-220H band saw provides excellent band guidance, which translates into its long life, straightness and cutting accuracy. The machine arm, made of profiled cast iron, guarantees rigidity of the structure and precise cutting.
Modern technical solutions
The drive from the electric motor to the cutting belt drive wheel is transmitted by a worm gear motor. As a result, the PROMA PPS-220H cutter is characterized by smooth and stable operation, which is crucial when cutting materials of different hardness.
Safety and Comfort of Use
The cutter is equipped with cutting band guards and microswitches that stop the motor when the cutting cycle is complete or the guards are opened. Additional automatic protection in the event of a broken cutting band ensures safe use of the machine.
Intuitive Operation and Control of the Cutting Process
The drop rate of the arm and the cutting speed are easily adjusted by means of a hydraulic cylinder and control panel. Two cutting band speeds (36 and 72 m/min) are available, allowing the machine to be adapted to different types of materials.
